Links to Maze and Labyrinth Resources
History is filled with legends and stories associated with mazes and labyrinths dating back more than 3,500 years, and their origin and purpose have been shrouded in mystery. The Internet can provide a wealth of knowledge about people and organizations "making history" with mazes and labyrinths. Here are just a few:
Caerdroia - the Journal of Mazes and Labyrinths - Caerdroia is a forum for all those interested in the labyrinthine path. It is currently the premier source of information for news, theories and research available and is published annually by Jeff Saward, founder and editor of Caerdroia. I encourage you to check it out!
Minotaur Maze Exhibits - the best resource I have found anywhere, for traveling educational maze exhibits. Transform your plain open space (indoors or outdoors) into an educational, interactive fun-filled "amazing" adventure that children of all ages can be immersed in, enjoy interacting with, and learn about the world they live in.
Morrison Maze prints - a solvable modern art. Signed, numbered and collected worldwide. Due to the immense detail of these mazes only one new work is released each year, usually in the fall.
Adrian Fisher Maze Design - A maze design pioneer and certainly the most prolific maze designer of the 20th century, Adrian Fisher has been involved in many interesting maze projects around the world. His work is the subject of many museum exhibits and TV and radio specials. He has also compiled a great deal of maze-related information into several definitive books available on his Web site.
If you have any links to maze or labyrinth sites you feel like sharing, please email Steve and we will add it here. Thanks.
